Below are photographs of the last copy of the old Federal Commercial Wood Floor Standards.
They were used for contractors to know the quality of the wood to be used in government buildings or Veterans for their homes after World War II.
They are interesting to read and to know that once, long ago, there were National Standards for the wood sold for our floors. Now, this was a voluntary standard, if you were not installing in Government Buildings.
They are interesting to read, please enjoy and use responsibly. The quality of the scan is not the best but the librarian who scanned it for me in the U.S. Archives took the time to do this after spending a few hours looking for it, and I thanked her many times.
